Delicious healthy smoothies for hot days

This dish is based on the principles of the Houtsmuller Diet. See their description in Basis Houtsmuller Diet and / or page Houtsmuller Diet

Here a few delicious healthy smoothies adapted from Le Magazine.: Mangoi / mint smoothie and coffee / cinnamon and tomato-cucumber smoothie smoothie. Requires much preparation time but is nice especially on hot days.


Ingredients: Mango smoothie Currency:

  • 1 liter low-fat yogurt, preferably organic
  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 3 sprigs mint
  • handful ice cubes
  • additional need: screen, towel and blender

Preparation:

Line a sieve with a clean cloth moistened and wrung out. Hang the strainer in a bowl and spoon the yogurt into it. Put everything in the refrigerator and let the yogurt drain at least 4 hours. Now all ingredients, including yogurt and ice cubes and turn it into a blender a smoothie. Serve immediately

Cinnamon coffee smoothie ingredients:

  • 500 grams of organic Greek yogurt or cottage cheese
  • 3 cups espresso coffee
  • 3 espresso cups water
  • tablespoon honey
  • One teaspoon cinnamon
  • Vanilla 1 bulb (suierkervrij)
  • extra: ice cube tray, strainer, tea towel, and blender

Preparation: Line a sieve with a clean cloth moistened and wrung out. Hang the strainer in a bowl and scoop the curd cheese or Greek yogurt in it. Mix the espresso coffee with the water and stir in the honey through. Pour this mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze .. Put the curd with knaeel, vanilla ice cream and koffieijsblokjes in the blender and turn it a smoothie. Serve immediately.

Ingredients: tomato-cucumber smoothie

  • 6 dl. 9 dl or yogurt. organic buttermilk
  • 3 ripe rtrostomaten (biological)
  • 1 / 2 cucumber
  • 1 dl. tomatenpasata = sieved tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek
  • handful ice cubes
  • sea salt and freshly ground pepper
  • extra: screen, towel, and blender

Preparation:

Line a sieve with a clean cloth moistened and wrung out. Hang the strainer in a bowl and stir in the yogurt or buttermilk in it. Put everything in the refrigerator and let the yogurt or buttermilk at least 4 hours to drain. If the bowl is likely to flow in between here on goats in extra bowl. cut the tomatoes into chunks. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise in half and remove the seeds. Now cut pieces nin. Put all ingredients in blender and turn the ijblokjes a smoothie. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper. Serve immediately.
